With the second over pick in the draft Matt selected Brian Westbrook, a consistant top 5 scorer in the EFS league unorthodox scoring rules. This years squad has not spoken to the press yet, all practices have been closed to the press this year. Actually, no one has actually seen Woolley's Bullies practicing at all this year. The only team spotings have been at OCB for team meals. The general manager Woolley has always been trade happy and this year is no exception, several controversal trades leaves Woolley's Bullies future a little cloudy. One thing is always certain Woolley will battle all the way down until the two minute warning and then will be too out of shape to finish; and Woolley will attemp to pick up as many washed up players as possible. There is general optimism toward this season in hopes of adding the highly coveted 1st fantasy trophy.

<![CDATA[Ponys season outlook]]>Wed, 03 Sep 2008 13:25:02 +0700http://ephratafantasystars.weebly.com/1/post/2008/09/ponys-season-outlook.htmlThe atmosphere in the locker room will be quite and eerie as the Ponys suit up for their week one matchup with the Niners. There seems to be a lack of leadership amongst the new faces. This years squad will return only one player from the end of the 2007-2008 season (Randy Moss) and more importantly are without the 3 time pony Eli Manning. That isn't to say we are without familiar faces, both Issac Bruce (two years removed) and Hines Ward (05-06 and 06-07 Pony) are back for another stint with the team.
"It's great to be back." said Ward at a local post draft press conference. Hines went on to say "I know my role this year is going to be important but I also know how replaceable [ I ] am."
He couldn't have put it any better. When penciling in our week one lineup (after trimming the fat, and getting rid of the distraction (Steve Smith) the only brain ratteling decision I had was the WR/RB slot and I will say this right now; It is Hines Wards spot to lose. Otherwise this looks to be a very promising season and we at Tonys PONYS are very excited to see how it plays out.
Good luck to all.
Anthony Rinaldi GM
